Maykaya's head started to ache with searing pain. She was in a football stadium, sitting in the bleachers. The wind was still, quiet, and cold. She looked around, seeing everyone starting to leave; the game had just gotten done. Trash littered the field and stands. Some people snickered as they walked near her. She made no comment or outburst, keeping her thoughts to herself.
"I need to take a walk," Maykaya said holding her head. It was almost midnight, and the only thing that lit the charcoal sky was a glowing crescent moon. She walked into the field, thinking about what had happened to her in her Junior year in high school. She had no friends, the teachers still hated her, and it seemed as though the world was against her... Nothing she did went right, for even her own mother was disappointed in her.
I wish I could just get away from it all... Maykaya thought bitterly to herself. Maykaya closed her eyes and started to cry.
Her own life was a prolonged and inevitable suicide to the seventeen-year-old juvenile; no longer could she suffer within her own existence, tormented each day by the overwhelming mental assaults of jealousy, anger, depression, and anxiety. The silver surface was cold against her fair skin, sending a bitter chill throughout her entire body. As she closed her sapphire eyes and pulled the trigger she felt one last tear of remorse and regret trail down her rosy cheek.
The pain spread more rapidly than Maykaya had anticipated; the red liquid blossomed through her black and mahogany chemise. She became aware of her heart intermittently slowly beating within her chest. Breathing in short gasps, her vision tilted and hazed into one indistinct oil painting of pallid shadows. Sinking to her knees, she saw one last ray of moonlight before collapsing upon the pavement beneath. Her struggle for life had irrevocably been brought to an abrupt end, and – with her last few intakes of air – memories of both poignant and jovial eminence flashed before her. How have I forgotten... those who care about me... those who felt it within their hearts to always think of me above themselves?
A sharp stinging sensation awoke Maykaya from her momentary 'day-dream'; as her eyelashes opened, she reproachfully turned her head to its side as to see part of the new location she was now in. Without realizing it, a piercing scream emanated from within. A slight echo was all that could be heard, and her widened eyes peered helplessly over the edge of the slanting roof she was situated upon.
Suddenly, Maykaya slipped, but as her fingertips flailed she grasped the border of a shingle. I cannot die... The thought burned within, as she started to lose her grip. As she started to fall, a shriek escaped her throat. She felt herself caught into someone’s arms. As she looked up, she saw she was held by a man who appeared no older than herself. He had tan skin, beautiful blue eyes, and sandy colored spiked down hair. He was wearing black, baggy jeans and a sleeveless white shirt. He set her down, and she stood up, paralyzed by what had happened.
*One the other side of town...*
Lixa,a young red-head who ofcourse is feiry && has not the longest fuse.Although she was a troubled teen-flunking school, breaking the law,and getting involved with the wrong crowd-she loved hanging out with her friends && was really an all together nice girl.
Walking through the city at nine, usually she'd be arrested but tonight there was a strange wind blowing through town.It seemed like everyone just dropped off the face of the earth.&& to Lixa that wouldn't be such a bad things, except she'd miss her best friend,Hikari.
Lixa thought to herself,"Woah, where did everyone go?A perfect night to cause some...mischief!"As Lixa ran to the nearest hardware store she was being watched. As she entered the hardware store she noticed the placy was eerily silent except for the buzzing noise of a mini fridge in the employee lounge. As she looked around for some spray paint she noticed the boy standing at the register. He was simple breath taking. He had peircing yellow eyes && soft tan skin that looked like silk.Although his hair was strangely white hair && long claws,Lixa couldn't keep her eyes off him.
Lixa finally finding the spraypaint walked to the register, bought it,&& left slightly looking back at the gorgeous boy,who was staring right back at Lixa. She grew an over-confident grin on her face, but he wasn't checking her out she was watching her every move.
Lixa proceeded in vandalizing all she could find.Lamposts, mailboxes, trashcans, you name it she' probably tagged it.
Just when she finished tagging a building she heard faint sirens.
"WHAT THE-?!"Escaped her throat && as soon as the sirens came closer to booked it.Finally she found a small alley-way to hide in.By now the police were pursuing her on foot. She jumped into an empty trash can && quickly held her breath. She heard the police's footsteps && voices coming closer. She could feel her heart beat in her throat && she squeezed her eyes tightly hoping they wouldn't check in her trashcan. She heard them beat against the trashcan across from her, just a hollow sound. Now they were at hers && she knew they'd find her.She took a quick breath && just as the club hit the trashcan she transported the rooftop above her.
The police, thinking they lost Lixa, left. She finally heard their voices fade away && the sirens quiet. The night became as silent as it was before. She sat on the rooftop looking at her hands && thanking the lord she didn't get caught. As she looked up she saw two other people standing across from her.She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.
