"How could you do this to me!" Sasha screamed at the man in front of her. The man she loved. The man who had promised her the world. The man who gave her a ring and his undying devotion. The man she had completely given her heart to.
The man who in one moment had shattered it into millions of tiny shards of glass.
"Sasha...I'm so..." Alec started, but cowerd as the enraged woman threw a flower vase at it.
"DON'T even THINK of saying sorry....or I'm going to tear your FUCKING HEAD OF!!!" she screamed, throwing a picture of the two of them at him. It hit the wall behind him, shattering the glass of the frame like her heart had just been. "How could you! How could you do that to me! I loved you! I gave you everything...and...and...and you cheat on me with that dirty lying slut!!!"
"Sasha please...let me explain..." Alec tried again, but once again was faced with Sasha's flaming wrath.
"NO!" she screamed continuously, flames bursting out around her. The carpet, the furniture, the curtains above the windows. Everything burned with her rage.
Alec screamed, falling into the fetal position and crying as the red hot flames surrounded her. "I'M SORRY SASHA!!!" he screamed in terror. "I'M SO SORRY....I'm sorry Pixie..."
Sasha stopped screaming, and the flames disappeared. Everything went back to normal. It was if there had been no fire at all.
She stared down at him blankly, and she felt nothing. There had been a time when she would willingly give her life for him. But now...now she just wanted me dead.
"No you're not Alec." she said monotonously. "You're never sorry. But why...why...." her body shook as tears started streaming down her cheeks. "...why my sister?"
Sasha stared out at the lake from atop the cliff she was. Leaning back against her motorcycle she took a long drag of her cigarette. The wind blew through her long red hair as she held the smoke in for as long as she could. When her lungs felt like they were burning, she let out her breath, a long stream of white smoke circling around her face.
She gazed out at the sun with expressionless blue eyes. 'I hope it blinds me.' she thought as she took one last long drag of her cigarette before flicking it over the cliff. She looked down at the ring on her left hand.
A ring of promise. A ring of happiness. A ring of love.
Now a ring of lies.
Standing up she walked over to the very edge of the cliff. Sasha stood there, the wind picking up more strands of her flaming hair and tossing them about her face. Slowly, she slid the ring off her finger. She stared at the bright sparkling diamond as he cast rainbows across her face in the light of the setting sun. Without any last thoughts she tossed the ring over the side, watching as it fell to the depths of the sea below.
"Good bye Alec." she whispered. Closing her eyes she sighed with the wind as it pressed at her from behind. Opening her arms she fell forward, letting herself fall effortlessly from the cliff. Her ears whistled as she fell fast towards the water. She wasn't afraid though. She had faced death many times before and hadn't been afraid once.
She opened her eyes, watching as the crashing waves flew towards her. Just as she was about to hit the waves a pair of giant silvery wings sprung from her back and carried her high into the sky. When she felt she was high enough Sasha stared down at the world below her. From the height she was at, the beauty of the sunset took her breath away. She smiled before folding up her wings and diving down into the water.
