Hello, I am also known as Eiji on AARPG, which is where I met Lovess'. Here's two of my characters:
(yeah, i know, the shirt looks modern; i hadn't decided to have him in the past when i drew him >.< )
Name: Eiji Makaruto
Age: 28
Height: 5'11"
Money: 500 gold
Race: Half Dark Elf / Half Demon
Description: The Makaruto family (an ancient and noble family of the Elven kingdom)
was forced to exile one of it's own for the first time in nearly a
thousand years, when Umi Makaruto gave her heart to a powerful Dark
Elven Wizard, and almost brought about the destruction of an empire.
In an attempt to save the Makaruto family from disgrace, Umi was stripped
of any and all ties to the Elven race, and powerful wards were erected
to prevent her from ever returning to the ancient forest she once called
home. Despite her exile, Umi gave her maiden name to each of her three
children. Many hundreds of years later, a dark elven priestess called
Misaka, the last known existing Makaruto descendant, caused a second
notable event to take place, by fornicating with an ancient demon. Not
even the Dark Elves would tolerate the presence of a demon child amongst
their own. The infant would have looked like a normal dark elf, but his
eyes were a burning red, and hideous veins wrapped themselves around half
of the outside of his body. Misaka and the child were ordered to be burned
alive. As she stood holding her child and felt the flames take hold of her
lower body, it is said that she cried out, "Kuroi, kuroi! Forsake me if you
will but preserve the child!" With that, the child disappeared entirely,
and was never seen again. As Misaka's body fell into the flames a
darkness covered the village, and the sky rained blood. Kuroi had
come with an ancient fury unseen by even the eldest of the Drow. Many
powerful Dark Elven Mages, Priests, and Warriors died that night. In the
end, however, there were too many, even for a being as old and powerful
as this Kuroi; for the first time in 5000 years, the demon tasted his
own blood, and when given no other option, tried to flee from the realm.
The Dark Elves, on the other hand, had anticipated such, and prepared for
it; they managed to seal the demon's soul into a crystal, and shortly
thereafter cast it into the depths of a volcano. The last of the exiled
descendants of Makaruto had vanished without a trace. Until...
Appearance: Eiji has already hit his peak of noticable aging. Like all dark elves, he
looks quite young to a human (early 20s). He is actually about 28 yrs old,
still QUITE young for a dark elf. When clothed properly, Eiji can have an
attractive appearance, by concealing the ghastly veiny strands that burst
from numerous locations on his body. He has pale grey skin, and blood red
hair, chin length, sometimes longer, the iris' of his eyes burn blood red.
Weapons: He has been known to weild a sword; how often or how well isn't widely known.
Abilities: Teleportation, Rapid Health Regeneration, Vampiric-like ability to consume
the life of another in order to strengthen and replenish himself. Eiji does
not eat anything but meat, and is particularly affectionate towards eating
something sentient. He can launch strong sharp vein-like structures from
his body, and enter his hosts body by stabbing it with hundreds of "strands".
These structures are also durable enough to strangle, grab and throw, or slice
if used properly.
Magic: Teleportation (100% chance of working)
Other Items: None of too much significance
Level: I don't know how this works, or what level he is supposed to be able to start
at really. I'd rather not say at this point, because I'm not sure how it
ties into the stories anyway.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Daruko Makaruto
Age: 123
Height: 6'1"
Money: A LOT of gold... Only known surviving member of the Makaruto bloodline. A noble.
Race: Elf
Description: The last known surviving member of the Makaruto lineage. Although a nobleman by birth, Daruko has never felt compelled to involve himself in every day politics. He built himself a large mansion deep in the forest and outside the Elven capitol. From his lookout, he can see most of the elven city, as well as miles and miles of the forest. He has always aided the kingdom during times of greatest need, and is considered one of the Queens most trusted advisors. Although he is still considered fairly young for a Wizard of his stature, he is far ahead of his years in knowledge of the arcane. Since he was old enough to lift a sword, the Queen saw fit to have Daruko trained by the nation's best swordsmen, and it has been many years since he lost a match. During times of peace, he has been known to disappear for years on end in the confines of his mansion, only coming out occasionally to hunt or speak to the Queen in the palace. Little is known as to the personal life of Daruko, for he has always kept his affairs quite private. He is known to go for long journeys across the continent to seek out new forms of knowledge and learn of the affairs of other races. It is even rumored that he has been to other worlds beyond the farthest known reaches of the sea.
Appearance: He has black hair and bluish-silver eyes. He often wears a dark grey traveling cloak. Thin and dexterous, with prominent elven features of course.
Weapons: He is rarely without his sword. "Karei", is an ancient weapon of unknown origins (except possibly to Daruko), and has been passed down through the ages in the Makaruto family. It has a blade that never dulls, and possesses a remarkable ability to turn up in Daruko's possession, even when moments previously it was thought to be nowhere near. Children still talk of the Ambush of Folly, a tale from Daruko's youth, in which a class rival had gathered several others and ambushed Daruko in the Great Hall. Hours earlier, his sword had been stolen from him and locked away out of his reach. Much to this fellow's chagrin, and I'm sure his followers' also, Karei was quite near when the moment came that Daruko needed her, and the back of her blade left many a bruise that day.
Abilities: Blessed with all the inherent strengths of the elven race, as he is, Daruko is also (as I mentioned) an excellent swordsman and a Wizard. He can fly, he is quite adept at using invisibility... The abilities of a Wizard are often measured by knowledge and experience, though for Daruko, at times, it has just as often been a measure of his determination. He is always a fan of subtlety... a weak but precisely used spell has often times been more efficient than a strong and flashy one. Not to mention, it expends less of his energy.
Magic: Daruko is a powerful and gifted Wizard. He is not one to showboat his abilities, but rather to blend in when possible, and always use his wits before his magic. However, being a Wizard, as he is, it is hardly possible to blend in... thus the reason that Daruko has grown reclusive over the years. Not much is known about the fullest extent of his abilities; for every good wizard knows to keep his best tricks hidden.
Other Items: He most always has various mystical items and scrolls with his person, which he conceals in his travelling cloak. Daruko has learned over the years to be as prepared for any situation as possible.

====================================
This is a back story on Daruko. It describes a series of events that took place just before he became the one of the youngest wizards in elven history to gain acceptance as an advisor and personal agent to the Queen. This is how he came to develop himself in such a short time (as it would normally take a few hundred years for a wizard to wield such magick).
Daruko awakens in darkness. He is wide awake. It is totally dark. He can feel that he has form, but not a physical form. He becomes aware of a light emanating within him, and realizes the light is able to move, although only relative to himself. Everything else is darkness. Then there is another light; faint.. he can not tell how far away it is with nothing else to compare it with for distance. He starts to move toward the light, and the light changes to shades of gold and blue and white...although change is not quite an accurate depiction of the process. The light is form; a Topaz crystal. He recognizes this. He is near to the crystal, and the light seems to overtake darkness until everything is white, and he is no longer able to see anything but white light.
Everything is light, and timeless. His thoughts are already laid out, all referencing themselves and he is in them all. He is the light and everything in the light is him. Thought ceases entirely. A voice is there, humming in all tones at once, but not seperately. There are tones that have never been heard in the realm of time. There is no time that this voice is not there.
The light is divided, and the separation begins with darkness. In the darkness, object becomes subject with observation, and a new subject is born. Now there is the self, although it is no different from the non-self.. all is light, and words will not describe this except in abstract representations. Something that we shall call time (although it is not time) is in a fixed position. There has been a dialogue with no beginning and no ending. It is all laid out, but for the purpose of this narrative we shall examine it as an abstraction. We have given it a beginning and a place. The beginning was in darkness. We will describe a subject who is an individual, and we will describe his subjective experience as if time and change are occurring..
Shadow creeped out from within the light, revealing contours. The features of an
elven goddess emerged as the light assumed the form of a cowl, and fell away with the motion of a small hand. Daruko stared deeply into the silvery gaze of the beautiful figure who sat before him. Her eyes flashed back at him, and as the two maintained this gaze Daruko felt warmth and peace spread throughout his being.
He opened his mouth to speak, but faltered, feeling that no words could adequately convey his feelings. At this, the girl smiled, knowingly, and opened her arms to him. The movement of his body was no physical one… It was as if the whole of his being thrust itself into the loving embrace of this elf goddess.
“You are home, young one,” spoke Tejina. “You will find peace here.”
“Am I alive?” asked Daruko.
“All creatures desire to live, not to die. You will not find death unless you seek it. Even in death, there can be a maturation of the soul. You are well, and well you shall stay. I have chosen you, young wizard, to serve a great purpose. I have been waiting for the time that you should seek me in earnest.”
“What must I do, great Goddess?”
“You must live, Daruko. You must learn. You will learn other creatures’ love for life, for they are like you. Look upon all others as you look upon yourself, and you will comprehend the knowledge of this immense world. Through the power of this knowledge you will gain the ability to do many things. There is much to show you. Will you look?”
“With all of my being,” replied Daruko.
Tejina smiled, and there followed a dazzling burst of white light, encased in shadow. In the next instant, Daruko realized he could no longer see the elven Goddess. Countless images now flooded his field of view, and filled his thoughts; an ocean of moments and actions, places and things. It was as if the history and future of all things were being played out in song, and his soul was the instrument. He felt every emotion he’d ever felt, in one instant, along with others he’d never imagined existed. He understood the nature of himself… the nature of individuality. The barriers of fear and ignorance, of memory and personal bias, let loose in an explosion of pure conscious experience. He reached down within himself, deliberately joining all of this experience as one mind, heart, and body. This was the will of life.
There were moments of difficulty. Fear was still there. It rose up before him, like a wall, warding him back, eroding his purpose. It was strong, so strong that there were instances Daruko thought he could not go on. Just pass the point that he would feel it consuming him, Tejina’s presence would pass through his being and break through the blockade, pushing him into an effortless flight of knowledge and experience. Her voice would comfort him when he was overwhelmed. She reassured him, filling his mind with peace, and clearing away all signs of confusion.
“Daruko, you are not moving,” said the voice.
“The images are moving?”
“The images are listening. You are listening. There is no fear in listening. In this place, there is no illusion. When you return to this world, you will know this. Time creates illusion. You must have the wisdom of a child. This is an ancient and powerful magic, engrained in our people. You must look, you must listen, you must observe. It is this way that you will penetrate the inner recesses of your mind, and understand true power….. You know what you will find. Don’t search for it. It is already there. You know the immeasurable.. In this place, there is that knowledge. What time has passed? A moment? Eternity? It is there, do you see it?”
The images faded into nothingness, and one emerged to fill the void. Elf and Goddess sat side by side. Daruko turned, fearlessly, and gazed into the eyes of the immortal being. “I know this purpose.”
“Then your insight will be timeless and pure. Let this direct your thoughts and actions. For when you return, the immeasurable will only bring you peace in this way. Your memories will distract you. But this, we know. We will begin again.”
